Kakadu Dreams

We offer nature based, culturally active tours of the Kakadu National Park with the emphasis placed on "hands-on" learning and fun!
Our Kakadu tours are aimed at the adventure traveller looking for an experience rather than just another sightseeing tour - we keep away from the crowds.

The word 'Kakadu" is derived from the Aboriginal tribal name of the Gagudju people one of the main tribal groups that inhabited the area that now forms the Kakadu National Park.
Kakadu National Park covers an area of 20,000 square kilometres. The park is classified as a World Heritage area for both its cultural values and its natural significance.
Experience all that Northern Australia has to offer!

JUMPING CROCODILE CRUISE
A morning boat cruise on the beautiful Adelaide River teaming with birdlife and of course our infamous salt water crocodiles. A small group enables you to get up close and personal while feeding these hungry monsters from the safety of the boat! An awesome way to start the day...

FLORENCE FALLS
Well known for its natural beauty, Florence Fall is an amazing location within Litchfield which provides us with a short bush walk and two amazing waterfalls.

BULEY ROCKHOLES
This is a great spot for the group to chillout and relax. Not much walking and plenty of fun to have in the water. Buley Rocks consists of a series of rock holes that flow down stream to a larger rock pool at the bottom.

TOLMER FALLS
Bit of a bush walk through Litchfield's breathtaking landscapes. Here we follow a set track leading to a lookout to view Tolmer Falls, which is now reserved for the family of bats that dwell within the near by caves. An impressive view!

WANGI FALLS
One of the more well known spots in Litchfield, Wangi Falls is a short walk from the truck and lots of swimming and playing in the large waterfall that awaits. There are also a series of board walks nearby for exploring and learning about the Northern Territory natural wildlife.

CATHERDRAL TERMITE MOUNDS
Home to one of the longest living insects on earth, up to 100 years old these structures are unique to the northern parts of Australia.
